Greenacres Holiday Park is and ideal location for visiting Gwynedd, Snowdonia, and the Llyn Peninsula and is located in Black Rock Sands close to the seaside town of Porthmadog.

Greenacres Caravan Park is just a few minutes from the picturesque town of Porthmadog which is home to the world famous Ffestiniog Railway. The railway was originally built to carry slate from the mines in Snowdonia but was converted during the 20th century to a tourist attraction which has grown in popularity ever since.
Another nearby attraction is the Italiante village of Portmeirion which is just two miles south of Porthmadog. The village was made famous during the 1960's when it was used as the location for the television series, The Prisoner, and is well worth a visit.
There are numerous other attractions close to the park including the beautiful scenery of the Snowdonia National Park, home to Mount Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales.
Travelling west on a short journey takes you towards the Llyn Peninsula which is very popular for its watersports with long sandy beaches and walks.
Half an hour to the north of the park is the town of Caernarfon, Gwynedd's county capital and its wonderful castle, one of the best preserved examples of a medieval castle in the whole country.
